Aviation Valley – the best business support institution in Poland 2018

During the opening Gala of PAIH Expo Awards, whose special guest was Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki,  Aviation Valley Association received the award in the Business Support Institution category of 2018. The effective operations of the Aviation Valley was emphasized, which allowed for the creation of south-eastern Poland – one the most recognizable cluster in the aviation industry.

Foreign companies who completed the investment projects with the biggest impact on the Polish economy in 2018 were also awarded by PAIH.

The Award for the biggest investment potential was given to EME Areo Sp. z o.o., a member of the Key National Cluster Aviation Valley. The EME Aero investment is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and MTU Aero Engines and will cover the construction of the world's largest service center for modern GTF jet engines. The plant will be built in the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS, the investor will provide new jobs for 800 people.
